Mmmmm... Frosting!

The new Spicy Supply Challenge over at Gingersnap Creations is up... and it's Frosting!  We are challenged to use anything that "makes the cake" on our creations - glitter, flower soft or flocking; beads, pearls or rhinestones; Stickles, crackle paint or Diamond Glaze.  I couldn't wait to dive into my new pack of Basic Grey's Kioshi patterned papers, and this one seemed perfect for adding some rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.  I used microbeads where I would normally use ribbon around the bottom of the card.  And of course, lots of Stickles and glitter (the glitter on the cupcake is glued on with liquid applique to give it some dimension).  That darling little fairy is an old PSX stamp (I miss them!), the cupcake is from Impression Obsession, and the sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms' Reach for the Stars set (Rummage Bin Collection).  I hope you'll play along!  And... don't forget about the Design Team Call - you have until Friday to enter.  If you always play along with their challenges anyway...... I'm just sayin'! :)

I really love this card. So beautiful! Thank you for your comment on my win with PDCC this week. And, glad to find another Cary-ite in the world of card making/blogging!

And, I thought I recognized your winning card from PDCC a couple weeks ago (blue birds).

I love your vintage style.

Aw this is so pretty! The first one to catch my eye. I just could not get it together to get anything done. the painter was always in my way. And I have two life sized Jack's and if I could give you Orlando I certainly would. He is a cutie.
