Sympathy cards are so difficult... I always feel that whatever I write is so inadequate. Cornish Heritage Farms will be releasing a new set from Mona Lisa Moments, called Sympathy Expressions, on Friday. It has some wonderful sentiments and phrases for making these oh-so-difficult cards. For the card above I used one of my favorites... it focuses on the wonderful memories left behind, which is really one of the only comforts at times like these. I used CHF's Freesia stamp as an anchor to the sentiment, and surrounded everything with a patterned paper from Basic Grey's Wisteria line. I also did a little coloring with some Memento markers. That's it... keeping it simple.
Hope your 2010 is kicking off to a great start! It's time for me to do the cleaning, the grocery shopping for kids' lunches,... might have to use that $10 A.C. Moore Crafts certificate that's burning a whole in my purse, too. :)
