Christmas Cards - En Masse

Our ATC club had a Christmas card swap (actual greeting cards, not ATCs) tonight.  I went with two general themes - kids and Santa - and used lots of Christmas paper scraps that I've been hoarding from years past.  A few quick and easy and *mailable* cards, very fun to make.

Here are a few using Artistic Outpost's Sleigh Ride plate, along with some Tim Holtz texture fades, glitter, Tim stamps, and Hero arts snowflakes sprinkled in:
In purple...
And white...
And blue....
And here are a couple of Tim Holtz Santas, with ticket stamps and dies:
In white....
And blue...
Have you started your Christmas cards yet? Do you make yours?  I was very surprised when I saw that one of my very, very favorite papercrafting artists and bloggers actually orders hers from an online shop that prints them up with the customers own photos.  *Manufactured* cards, from someone who makes quite possibly the most beautiful Christmas cards I've ever seen. *Gasp!*  So whaddya think?  Is your Christmas card list so long that you have to buy them?  Does it feel weird?  Do you give handmade cards to the chosen lucky few?  Or maybe you do a Christmas letter.  Or maybe, like me, your are a queen-of-the-last-minute and end up either doing them at 2:00 AM or just throwing in the towel.  I'd love to hear your thoughts.  I'm hoping to get enough done for everybody on my list this year.  Maybe.  Hopefully.... ;)

Lovely variety of Holiday cards, great way to showcase how versatile the stamp sets are! I'm sure your group of friends loved receiving them. Thanks for using Artistic Outpost images.

Lovely grouping of Christmas cards. I love the images you used and the layouts are fabulous! Also like the idea of making them so one stamp can send them on their merry way!

Wonderful cards you have displayed here...looks like you are ready for Xmas card giving. I have been making Xmas cards now for almost eight weeks...as I do the Xmas art markets...so I have been making "mailable" cards of all sorts. I send one of my mailables too as my Xmas card of the year.

Love your cards! I usually make them all (around 100). This year I'm making little boxes with Bigz die that hold 4 decorated nuggets for work instead of cards. The boxes are done but haven't started the nuggets yet so I'm sure it will be last minute again....

WOW Jean! These are awesome, you have been a busy gal! I think I need to come and play at your house. I haven't even started my holiday cards. I usually do well over 100. I'm so far behind this year. Shame on me....

I'm sure your ATC club Loved them!!

You have got a point there Jean - I am going to do 50/50 - I have made a photo collage which I only have to print out and then I have a basket full of tags and cards for the other half! It's just getting too much and takes so much time!
Anyway, yours are certainly looking gorgeous!

Gorgeous cards, Jean! Your friends and family will LOVE them! I make a few cards for a few people, I don't go nuts over it. Too stressful and I like to relax during the holidays.
