Welcome to the Scrap365 magazine blog hop! My name is Jean Franks Beck, and I am soooo excited to be one of the designers in the inaugural issue of Scrap365 Magazine. If you have already heard about Scrap365, then you've probably come here from Suzy Beecher's blog. Your next step on the hop is Louise Nelson's blog. Don't forget to leave a comment on all of the DT's blogs so that you have a chance at a really awesome prize!
Now, for those peeps who haven't come here from the Scrap365 hop.... you may be wondering what on earth I'm going on about. ;) Scrap365 is a brand-new scrapbooking magazine from the same creative artists who bring you Craft Stamper Magazine. Scrap365 will debut November 18, 2011, and will be filled with awesome ideas and inspiration to keep you scrapping every day of the year. With Scrap365, you will discover a varied and eclectic approach covering all aspects of scrapbooking, including journaling, digi scrapping, photography, even storage ideas! And as you might have guessed.... yours truly has an article in the inaugural issue! I won't spill the beans completely, but my project just *might* have a bit of glue involved. ;) You can get all the details of the blog hop on the Scrap365 Blog if you'd like to see more peeks. You can also keep up on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scrap365 and visit at Twitter at @scrap365mag.com.
And how's this for an incentive to hop..... If you leave a comment on ALL of the DT's blogs AND the Scrap365 blog, you are eligible to win a prize of a year's subscription to Craft Stamper magazine PLUS stamps worth over £20! How sweet is that? I hope you can hop and play along. Good luck!
For those of you new to my website, let me tell you a little about myself. I am originally from the northeastern part of the US (eastern Pennsylvania to be specific), and am now living "down south" with my hubby, 12-year-old daughter and 10-year old son. I'm a vintage-loving gal! My scrapbooking style varies based on the subject of my scrapbooks, but for the most part, I love shabby chic, vintage, and grungy looks. One of my favorite project that I have been working on throughout the year is my gluebook pages (there's a little sneaky peek above). I work on my gluebook whenever I am waiting in line in my car.... for the kids to get out of school, finish piano lessons, finish sports practices.... you get the idea. I cart it all around in a vintage train case that is packed with scraps of patterned papers, clip art, photos, and unused stamped images. I am currently a designer for Craft Stamper Magazine, Rogue Redhead Designs rubber stamp company, and Gingersnap Creations challenge blog.
I will leave you with a few of my scrapping endeavors from previous posts, as well as this peek from the mag (which you can also see a bit of in the announcement photo above)......
Some pics of a little mini album I made out of office supplies:
And some pics from my vintage gluebook....
Thanks for stopping by!
Interesting read and good luck on your newest endeavor!
